At this point it’s more probable that Donald Trump is either going to win the national election, or the tie will go to the House of Representatives to pick the winner, which most likely would be a Trump win as well.
The House and Senate both appear to be a safe keep for the Republican Party also tonight.
I was always told that Corpus Christi, Texas was much nicer and cleaner than Galveston. That proved to be false. It wasn’t bad, but Galveston felt about the same and with a better ocean view.
Officially started my position with ISS today. On the south side of OU campus, the office is adjacent to the National Weather Service.
Really nice people so far, but it’s different since no one here is on my team or even in my group. I’ll probably just be coming down to Norman a few times a week unless something changes.
Interesting story: After years of my friend Will who I knew from AMEX in New York City, telling me I should come visit, I decided to take him up on it and book a trip and see other friends there as well. One of them being another long time friend Vilma who I knew in NYC and another photographer friend whom I never met but had been in touch with for years who said if was available, I should come down and visit in Key West on the trip. What could go wrong?
After three months of waiting, several setbacks on the arrival date and a few trips to Dallas to finalize the sale, The Park Place Mercedes dealership in Dallas made good on delivery by shipping my car to me free of charge to Oklahoma City. So there we have it, my first new car in over a decade after going most of a decade without using a car. I must say, I really love how the car feels too. More photos to come.
